We have heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned AGP.

It is submitted that the Petitioner has purchased the stamp paper for agreement but the agreement would not materialized. The stamp papers were purchased on 30 December 2013. On 16 April 2014 the Petitioner filed an Application for refund of the amount towards the stamp papers. 3.
The said Application is not yet decided in spite of the fact that the 8 years have lapsed.

In case the Application filed by the Petitioner for refund of the stamp duties (page Nos.16 and 17) is pending with Respondent No.4 and Respondent No.2 is competent to take decision, then the Respondent No.2 shall take decision upon its on merits and in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within three months.

The learned AGP shall communicate this order to Respondent No.2.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
