By the present application, he seeks permission to travel abroad by stating that he want to visit certain European countries from 05/05/2023 to 02/06/2023 and in the wake of this pending Appeal, he has approached this Court, seeking permission to travel.

I have also heard Ms.Ameeta Kuttikrishnan for Respondent No.2 and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

It is not in dispute that Criminal Appeal No.1376 of 2012, M.M.Salgaonkar

2/2 203 IA-927-23.odt filed by the Applicant, is pending before this Court and scheduled for final hearing.

In the past, upon such an application being filed, this Court has granted him permission to travel abroad and on every occasion, the Applicant has returned back to India within the time limit granted. Distinct orders to that effect are placed on record, along with the application.

From perusal of the orders placed on record, it can be seen that in the past also, the Applicant was permitted to travel abroad and in the present application, the object of travel is stated to explore the European countries and to participate in Marathon in Helsinki, to be held on 13/05/2023. In the wake of the reason cited in the application, the Applicant is permitted to travel abroad from 05/05/2023 to 02/06/2023, subject to he furnishing his entire itinerary of travel to the respondent No.2-S.P., CBI, ACB, Mumbai one week in advance prior to his travel, including his travel details such as flight number, ticket number, Visa particulars etc. The Applicant shall return to India on or before 03/06/2023.

The application stands disposed off in the aforestated terms.
