Considering the nature of directions proposed to be issued, service of notice on respondent nos.4 and 5 is dispensed with. RULE. Rule is made returnable forthwith. The learned Assistant Government Pleader waives notice for respondent nos.1 to 3.

The only prayer made by the petitioners is for expeditious consideration of the revision application that has been preferred by respondent nos.4 and 5 under Section 154 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 for challenging the order dated 9th February 2018 passed by the Divisional Joint Registrar of Co-operative Societies setting aside an order passed under Section 88 of the said Act. The Revisional Authority on 30th October 2018 stayed the order dated 9th February 2018 during pendency of the revision application. It is the grievance of the petitioners that despite passage of more than four years, the revision application has not been decided. A request was made on 22nd February 2024 to decide the proceedings immediately. 3.
In aforesaid facts, since the revision application is pending for a period of more than four years, it is directed that respondent no.1 shall 2/3
consider the said revision application on its own merits and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of two months of receiving copy of this order. The revision application shall be decided after hearing all concerned parties in accordance with law. All points raised are kept open.
