After the matter is heard at some length, it is agreed between learned Counsel for parties that the writ petition may be disposed of in terms of the following order. It is, accordingly, ordered as follows : The impugned order dated 10 September 2003 shall be substituted by the following order :

The Respondent shall be entitled to the amount deposited by the Petitioner in this court in pursuance of the interim order passed by this court on 16 June 2007 along with accrued interest. The Registry shall, accordingly, permit the Respondent to withdraw the amount, which is presently invested in Fixed Deposit of a Nationalised Bank, along with accrued interest in full and final settlement of the Respondent's claim in complaint (ULP) No.110 of 1998.

This order shall not be treated as precedent for any dispute, 1 / 2
