This is an application received through Jail. Ms. Amita Kuttikrishnan is appointed from the legal aid committee to represent the applicant.

Heard the learned counsel appointed for the applicant and the learned APP.

3) By the present application the applicant has prayed for expediting the trial in Special Case No.9/2010 arising out of CR No.190/2010 registered with Crime Branch, Ulhasnagar. The learned APP on instructions from the Officer submitted that the trial pertaining to the said case has already commenced and as of today six witnesses have been examined. He, on instructions, submitted that it may take approximately one year to conclude the trial. As the trail pertaining to the said special case has already commenced and in view of the submission of the learned

2 /2BA-524-16-36 APP there is no further need to give directions to expedite the trial. Application is accordingly disposed off.
