Mr. Mendadkar, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that by this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner is seeking direction against respondents No.1 and 3-Slum Rehabilitation Authority to decide his application dated 30th March, 2019 (Exhibit B, page 14 of the petition) on it's own merits as early as possible. 6.

Considering the submission made by Mr. Mendadkar, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and affidavit in reply filed by respondents No.5 and 6, we are of the opinion that respondents No.1 and 3-SRA to decide the application dated 30th March, 2019 filed by the petitioner as early as possible after hearing both the sides.

In view of these facts, following order is passed; : O R D E R :

(a) Respondents No.1 and 3-SRA is directed to decide the petitioner'

s application dated 30th March, 2019 (Exhibit B, Page No.14 of the petition) on it'

s own merits, as early as possible, but, in any case, on or before 24th September, 2021 and communicate the decision to the parties in writing;

(b) All contentions of both the parties are kept open;

(c) With these directions, writ petition stands disposed of;

(d) No order as to costs.
