The Petitioners have been issued notices dated 25th February, 2022 under Section 260(1)(2) of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, 1988. The Petitioners have already replied to the Notices. Learned Counsel for the Petitioners states that without passing orders on the Show Cause Notices dated 25th February, 2022, the Petitioners have been threatened with demolition of the alleged unauthorized works.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioners states that Respondent No.1 - Thane Municipal Corporation has been served and he shall fle an Afdavit of Service. 3.

Inasmuch as the Petitioners have already been served with Show Cause Notices (dated 25th February, 2022) and the Petitioners have fled a reply, we direct that no coercive action shall be taken by Respondent No.1 - Thane Municipal Corporation against the Petitioners till the decision on the said Show Cause Notices. In the event, the decision is adverse to the Petitioners, no coercive action shall be taken by Respondent No.1 - Thane Municipal Corporation against the Petitioners for a further period of three weeks from the date of receipt of the decision by the Petitioners. 4.

The Writ Petition to stand disposed of in the above terms.
