Learned A.P.P. on instructions submitted that, the trial of the Petitioner has not yet begun i.e. till date the trial Court has not framed charge. As per the grievance of the Petitioner, he is in jail since 2016 and in last about 6 years, his trial has not begun.

In view of the above, we hereby direct the learned Special Judge (MCOC Act), Thane to expedite the hearing of M.C.O.C. Special Case No.2 of 2017 and to make an endeavour to conclude the same within a period of 18 months on the date of receipt of the present Order. 3.
