Learned Counsel for the appellant, on telephonic instructions of the appellant, seeks leave to withdraw this appeal. He states that the appellant does not wish to pursue this appeal, as he has undergone the entire sentence and has been released.

Accordingly, the appeal is disposed of as withdrawn. Considering the withdrawal of the appeal, the conviction and sentence of the appellant is maintained, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 394 r/w 397 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.
