Learned APP on instructions submitted that, the Trial Court has scheduled the NDPS Special Case No.98 of 2018 for framing of Charge on 11th January, 2023.

As far as conducting CBI inquiry against Investigating Officer and other Police Officers into the offence wherein the Petitioner is an accused, would amount to pressurising them from performing their duty which is not permissible in the eyes of law.

Petition is accordingly dismissed.
