2] The only grievance of the petitioner is that matter relating to the caste validity of the petitioner has not been considered and decided by the 2nd respondent - Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee (Committee), Konkan Division, Thane, as yet. 3] According to the petitioner vide letter dated 29th July 2013, the 3rd respondent-Corporation had referred the petitioner's caste certificate for validation to 2nd respondent, but till date no Dinesh Sherla 1/2

4] A prayer has been made to dispose of this petition by directing 2nd respondent to consider and decide the petitioner's claim for grant of caste validity certificate, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

5] Keeping in view of the aforesaid prayer, without commenting upon the merits of the matter, this petition is disposed of by directing 2nd respondent - Committee to decide the petitioner's caste validity claim, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, but not later than four months from the date of appearance of the petitioner before the said Committee.

6] The petitioner to appear before the Committee on 10th July 2017 at 11.00 a.m..
