1] By this application, the applicant seeks extension of the temporary bail granted to him by this Court vide order dated 18.1.2021, on medical grounds.

2] The learned counsel for the applicant submits that this court by order dated 18.1.2021 granted temporary bail to the applicant for eight weeks, in view of the fact that the applicant had undergone operation for brain tumor on 1.12.2020 and in view of report from J.J. Hospital about health condition of the applicant. It is submitted that the applicant, Dinesh Sherla 1/2

5-IA-1046-21 .doc who is 74 years old, is unable to perform his day to day chores due to ill health. It is thus submitted that the temporary bail granted to the applicant be extended for further eight weeks. In support of his submission, the learned counsel for the applicant has placed on record the medical case papers of the applicant.

3] Taking into consideration overall facts and circumstances and the medical case papers produced on record, we are inclined to extend the temporary bail granted to the applicant by this Court vide order dated 18.1.2021 for further period of four weeks. In the result, the following order is passed.

ORDER

a] Application is allowed.

b] The temporary bail granted to the applicant by order dated 18.1.2021 shall remain in operation for further period of four weeks from today, i.e. till 20.04.2021.
