The counsel on record for the petitioner filed a letter, dated 7th June 2018, before the Court, highlighting that despite her best efforts to contact the petitioner, she received no response from him. She sent that letter on 24th October 2018, but it came back with a postal remark "Person Expired". According to the learned counsel, she had no further instructions from the legal representatives, if any, of the deceased petitioner.

3. Under these circumstances, the writ petition cannot survive because of the sole petitioner's death. So I close it.
