DATE: 14th November, 2017 P.C.:- 1] Party in person, by way of present application, seeks permission to argue his case personally.

2] In accordance with the Rules for presentation and conduct of proceedings in person by parties, the Petitioner was interviewed by the Committee of two Registrars, who are from judicial service. The Committee, after interviewing the Petitioner, has found that the 1/2

19-CAW-753-17.sxw permission cannot be granted to the Petitioner. 3] The Petitioner submits that in view of Rule 7 of the said Rules, this Court has got powers to permit him to appear in person. He further submits that he has also appeared before various Benches wherein orders have been passed. He also submits that he undertakes to maintain decorum of this Court.

4] We find that when the Committee of two Registrar, who are from judicial service, has found that permission cannot be granted to the Petitioner, it will not be appropriate to sit in appeal over the decision of the Committee.

5] Application is, therefore, rejected.

6] Petitioner to take necessary steps, either to engage a lawyer or if he cannot afford services of lawyer, to approach the Legal Aid Services Authority for legal assistance.
