Having heard learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Counsel or the Respondent-Corporation, we dispose of the Petition by passing the following order:

O R D E R

(i) The Petitioner is permitted to make a Representation to the Respondent No.2-Commissioner in respect of exemption claimed by the Petitioner to the property-tax within a period of one week from today. It will be open to the Respondent No.2-Commissioner to nominate another Senior Officer to decide the Representation. (ii) If such Representation is made within one week from today, the same shall be decided within four weeks from the date of receipt of Uday.P.Kambli 1/2

(iii) Until such Representation is decided and for a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of the decision on the Representation, no coercive steps shall be taken by the Respondent-Corporation. 2.
