The only prayer pressed by learned Counsel for the Petitioners is that the representation of the Petitioners dated 13th June, 2018 be decided by the Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development Department, State of Maharashtra. 2.

Our attention is invited to the order dated 23rd January, 2018 in the Writ Petition (Stamp) No. 4172 of 2017 fled by the Petitioners, wherein directions were given by the Court to decide the representation made by the Petitioners made before the Revenue and Forest Department of the State Government on its own merits and in accordance with law.

It is pointed out by learned Senior Counsel for the Petitioners that the said representation was wrongly addressed to AKN 1/2

2/2 4.wp.6342.2019.doc the Revenue and Forest Department of the State Government and that the said representation ought to have been made to the State Government, Urban Development Department.

In the circumstances, we direct the Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development Department, State of Maharashtra to decide the representation of the Petitioners of 13th June, 2018 annexed at Exhibit-B of the Petition in accordance with law. 4.

We record the statement of learned Senior Counsel of the Petitioners that the earlier representation made to State Government, Revenue and Forest Department shall be withdrawn. 5.
