The petition is filed for direction to respondent to take an action on petitioner's complaint dated 2nd February, 2015. Having perused the compilation, we find that the petitioner's statement was recorded on 26th February, 2015. Mr. Saraogi, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the statement of the petitioner is recorded, no further action is taken by the investigating agency. 2.
In the light of the above circumstances, we direct the Police Inspector, Vanrai Police Station, Mumbai to consider the petitioner's complaint and statement, and take an appropriate decision in terms of Lalita Kumari versus Government of U.P. and ors. (2014) 2 SCC 1 Shubhada S Kadam 1/2
Sr.No.907 WP 1132.15 within 7 days from the receipt of this order and, thereafter, communicate the outcome thereof to the petitioner.

In the light of the above direction, the petition stands dismissed.
