The petitioner's complaint came to be registered on 14th December, 2015 for an offence under Section 509 r/w Section 34 of I.P.C. Learned APP submitted that accused came to be arrested. She was released on bail. Unfortunately the investigation is still kept pending for the reasons best known to the investigating agency. The Complainant has approached this Court praying for quashing the FIR. Petitioner states that after lot of deliberation and discussion in presence of elder members of family, the petitioner decided to get the FIR quashed. 2.
We have perused the FIR/complaint. On a telephonic intimation
2/2 wp1134.16.sxw the police reached and tried to help the Complainant. We direct the Investigating Officer to file appropriate report within ten days from today. 3.
We are not inclined to exercise our extraordinary writ jurisdiction and inherent powers at this stage. Keeping all issues on merits open, petition is disposed of.
