Upon urgent mentioning, taken on Production Board. 2.

By this Writ Petition, the petitioner challenges the orders dated 28th January, 2019 passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 23rd Court at Esplanade in Case No.2303207/SS/2015. 3.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner / accused submits that there are two connected matters pending against the petitioner/accused before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 23rd Court, Esplanade and a non-bailable warrant is issued on 28.1.2019 against the petitioner/accused. The learned Counsel

wp.1274.2019_510.doc submits that on every date, she has sought exemption of the petitioner / accused. The learned Counsel submits that next time, the petitioner / accused will remain present in the Court. However, she submits that her application for cancellation of the non-bailable warrant is pending before the trial Court.

As the matter is proceeding and the evidence is being recorded, the non-bailable warrant is hereby cancelled and the petitioner/accused is directed to remain present before the trial Court on the next date i.e., 29.3.2019.

Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
