The learned A.G.P. for the Respondent filed Affidavit-in-Reply dated 16.07.2018. Same is taken on record.
The learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Respondents failed and neglected to comply the order dated 17.12.2014 passed by this court in Writ Petition No.11061 of 2014. Hence, they filed the present Contempt Petition. He submits that this court by order dated 17.12.2014 directed Respondents to decide the Petitioners' representation for allotment of agricultural land. The learned A.G.P. for the Petitioners states that they will finally decide petitioners' application and communicate order to the petitioners within three weeks from today. Same is accepted. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties and Affidavit-in-Reply filed by Respondents, we are of the opinion that Contempt Petition can be disposed of finally with a direction to the Respondent no.4 to decide Petitioners' Application dated 20.02.2016 as early as possible but in any case, within three weeks from today.
Contempt Petition stands disposed of with following order : a) Respondent no.4 is directed to decide Petitioners' representation dated 20.02.2016 as early as possible but in any case within three weeks from the date of communication of this order as per earlier order dated 17.12.2014 passed by this court in Writ Petition No.11061 of 2014.
b) Respondent no.4 to communicate the final decision on petitioners' application dated 20.02.2016 to the Petitioner in writing. c) Contempt Petition stands rejected.
