The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned AGP state that as per the information shown on the website of the concerned Court, the subject suit has been disposed of on 18th March 2009 by the learned Third Joint Civil Judge, Satara. 2.

The challenge in this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is to the order dated 13th August 2002 passed in the said suit by the learned trial Judge on an application made by the third party for impleadment. By the impugned order, the said application was allowed. However, the operation of the said order was stayed by this Court during the pendency of this petition. As the main suit is shown as disposed of, nothing survives in this petition and, accordingly, the same is disposed of. Rule is discharged. If the suit is restored, there will be a liberty available to the petitioner to apply for restoration of this petition. JUDGE
