Mr. Pabale, learned AGP for the respondents has placed before us orders dated August 24, 2021 and August 26, 2021. It is not disputed by Mr. Sawant, learned counsel for the petitioner that such orders take care of the concern expressed by this Court in its order July 29, 2021 for appointment of a qualified doctor on the post of Medical Superintendent on ad hoc basis till such time an appointment on regular basis is made.

In view of the aforesaid orders, we do not propose to keep the writ petition pending. The same stands disposed of, without costs.

We express hope and trust that the Maharashtra Public Service Commission, pursuant to the requisition of the State Government, shall start the process for recruitment of a suitable candidate on the post of Medical Superintendent and make honest endeavour to fill up such post in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
