This is an application for condonation of delay in preferring Criminal Appeal. The delay is of 5 years and 59 days. The applicant is in jail. He has been convicted vide judgment and order dated 19th January 2017 for the offence u/s.376(D) of Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 20 years. Considering the fact that applicant is in custody since 22nd March 2016 and in the interest of justice, delay is condoned. Interim Application No.1057 of 2022 stands disposed of.
