The appellant who is the original defendant in Special Civil Suit no. 13 of 2017 seeks transfer of the said suit from Dadra and Nagar Haveli at Silvassa to Dindoshi Court, at Mumbai. Admittedly, the jurisdiction of the City Civil Court at Mumbai is restricted up to Rs.1 crore whereas the suit is valued at Rs.51.50 crores. Therefore, application is not maintainable. Hence, the same is rejected. MCA stands disposed.
