This Petition has been filed against the inaction on the part of Respondent No. 2 - Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee (in short "the Committee") in not deciding the Petitioner's caste validity claim which is pending before it since 2011. According to the Petitioner, his caste validity claim was referred before the Respondent No. 1 for scrutiny on 12th July, 2011 vide Exhibit "C" but till date his claim has not been decided. 2.

Without commenting upon the merits of the matter and the Petitioner's entitlement, we dispose of this Petition by directing Vishal Parekar 1/2

37-wp-3447-2016.doc Respondent No. 2 - the Committee to decide the Petitioner's caste validity claim if not already decided, as expeditiously as possible preferably within four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

The Petitioner to appear before the Committee on 26th July, 2017 at 11.00 am.
