1] Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2] The learned counsel for the respondents points out that in fact, connected petitions stand disposed of. Mr. Vinod Joshi also does not seriously dispute this position. 3] In fact, Mr. Vinod Joshi, the learned counsel for the petitioners states that the impugned order has already been complied with and therefore, he does not press the

4] From the perusal of the impugned judgment and order, we find that the CAT has relied upon a judgment of the Principal Bench in OA No. 1715 of 1995 as upheld by the High Court of Delhi. The judgment of the High Court of Delhi, it appears, was the subject matter of Civil Appeal Nos. 4973 of 2001 and 4974 of 2001(Union of India & Anr. vs. Hasan Abdullah & Ors.) before the Hon'ble Apex Court. The Hon'ble Apex Court has dismissed the appeals against the decision of the Delhi High Court. On these basis, this Court, dismissed writ petition no. 9788 of 2003 by order dated 30th March 2009.

5] For all the aforesaid reasons, and since, this petition is not pressed, we dispose of this petition. Rule is discharged. (M.S. SONAK, J.) (ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE) CHANDKA
