The petitioners have approached this Court with the grievance that the land reference appeals preferred by them in August 2013 are not yet decided by the concerned authorities and that the authorities be directed to decide the said reference appeals within a time bound frame.

Mr.Vagyani, learned Govt.Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1, 2 and 4 has placed on record letter dated 25th

skn 2/2 1041.16-wp.sxw April 2017 received by him from the Sub Divisional Officer, Karveer Division, Kolhapur informing him that these appeals would be decided within a period of six weeks.

In view of the aforesaid statement made on behalf of the respondents that the reference appeals would be decided within a period of six weeks, we dispose of this writ petition accepting the statement as made in the letter dated 25th April 2017. No costs. (G.S.KULKARNI, J.) CHIEF JUSTICE
