The applicants were granted interim relief by an Order dated 19th March, 2018 and were directed to attend the Investigating Officer on stipulated dates.
Heard the learned Counsel for the applicants and the learned APP. Perused the record of investigation. 2.
The record indicates that the applicants have attended the Investigating Officer on stipulated dates and joined the process of investigation. Even otherwise the present offence is under Sections 323, 504 and 506 of 1/2
14-ABA526-18.DOC Indian Penal Code and under Sections 75 and 79 of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act. The record indicates that the police have recorded statements of various witnesses in support of this case. After perusing the record, this Court is of the considered view that, for further investigation of the present crime the custodial interrogation of the applicants is not necessary. 3.
Interim relief granted by Order dated 19th March, 2018, is hereby confirmed. However, the condition to attend the Investigating Officer is waived.

Application is allowed in aforesaid terms.
