This is an application filed by the aforesaid Applicant for temporary bail for performing the last rites of his deceased father, who has expired on 22.03.2022.

The wife of the Applicant has filed her affidavit stating that Vishnu Sakharam Patil, father of the Applicant, expired on 22.03.2022 at Thane. It is stated that the Applicant and his brother Nagraj Patil are the only male members in the family and both are

lodged in prison. It is stated that there is no other person to perform the funeral rites of the deceased father. The Applicant, being the eldest son has therefore sought temporary bail for performing the funeral related rites.

Considering the ground stated in the Application, the Applicant is ordered to be released on temporary bail till 3rd April, 2022 on the following terms and conditions:- (i) The Applicant who is facing trial in Sessions Case No. 227 of 2015, pending before the Sessions Court, Thane, is ordered to be released on temporary bail till 3rd April, 2022, on furnishing cash bail of Rs.40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand Only).

(ii) The Applicant shall not leave Thane District till 30.03.2022. He is permitted to go to Nashik on 31.03.2022 and 01.04.2022 for immersion of ashes.

(iii) The Applicant shall surrender before the Superintendent, Thane

Central Prison on 04.04.2022 by 2.00 p.m.

(iv) During this period of temporary bail, the Applicant shall not interfere with the Complainant and other witnesses. (v) The Applicant shall report to the Sr. Police Inspector, Thane Police Station, on every alternate day.
