The Petitioner was elected as a Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat in question. A no confidence motion came to be passed against the Petitioner. Since the term of Sarpanch is already over, the challenge in the above Petition to the order passed by the Appellate Authority confirming the order passed by the Additional Collector upholding the "no confidence motion" passed against the Petitioner has turned infructuous. The learned counsel for the Petitioner accepts the said position. The above Petition is accordingly dismissed as having turned infructuous.
