The Petitioner retired on superannuation from the post of Controller of Examination from Respondent No.2- University. The Petitioner has sought direction in respect of revised pay and additional increments for PHD qualification. The Petitioner has also sought additional increment for additional responsibility of the post of Principal.

The Petitioner during his career has worked with different institutions, that is, Respondent Nos.2, 5 and 6. He retired on superannuation while in service with Respondent No.2. It is Petitioner's grievance that there is no impediment for grant of additional pay and the benefit of pay-scale and the increment, but because of the lack of co-ordination between the different employers of the Petitioner that the pension papers have not been processed. The learned counsel for the Petitioner has drawn our attention to the communication/ record maintained by the College of Respondent No.5- Institution wherein certain details regarding pay have been specified.

Taking note of the fact that the Petitioner has retired on superannuation on 31 May 2016 and his grievance regarding payment of increment as per pay-scale still remained pending, we are of the opinion that one officer from the State Government should be nominated who can co-ordinate with Respondent Nos.2, 5 and 6 in respect of processing papers of the Petitioner for pensionary benefits as above.

Accordingly, the Director of Higher Education will nominate one officer, within four weeks, who will co-ordinate with the offices of Respondent Nos.2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 and thereafter place the papers before the correct concerned authority for processing them further as per law. The said nominated officer would communicate to Respondent Nos.2, 5 and 6 as to which of the

skn 3 40-WP-9233.2022.doc Respondents to send the proposal. Respondent Nos.2, 5 and 6 will co-operate and follow the instructions issued by such nominated officer.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
