1. In this petition, petitioner is challenging a notification dated 29.08.2007 issued by respondent No. 2 by which respondent No. 2 decided to permit import for betel nuts only through Manglore port. Mr. Mishra states, that notification was withdrawn almost a decade ago, therefore, nothing survives in the petition. 2.

Dr. Kantawala states, that notification was struck down by certain High Courts. Mr. Mishra disagrees.
