This is an Application for bail in connection with C.R. No.709/2020 registered at Kondhwa police station, Pune under Sections 302, 323, 504, 120-B of IPC and under Sections 4(25) of the Indian Arms Act and under Sections 37(1) and 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act.

Heard Ms. Sana Raees Khan, learned counsel for the Applicant and Mr. C.D. Mali, learned APP for the Respondent-State.

The Applicant was arrested on 1.6.2020. The Applicant had earlier approached this Court with Criminal Bail Application No.1452/2021. It was rejected vide a reasoned order dated 21.6.2021. Thereafter the Applicant had approached the Hon'ble Supreme Court vide SLP (Cri.) Diary No.25652/2023. Said Petition was dismissed as withdrawn. The Applicant has again approached this Court. 4.

Considering that the Applicant's Application for bail was dismissed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, learned counsel submits that she is not pressing this Application. She only prays that directions be issued to the trial Court to complete the trial within a time bound manner. She submitted that the trial be made time bound.

That request is reasonable. Therefore, the Application is disposed of as not pressed. The trial Court is requested to expeditiously start the trial and conclude it within a period of six months from today. It is made clear that if the co-accused who are on bail are not cooperating with the expeditious disposal of the trial, their trial can be

separated in accordance with law. The Applicant himself shall cooperate with expeditious disposal of the trial. The prosecuting agency shall also ensure that the witnesses are produced regularly. The learned trial Judge shall ensure that the trial is concluded within that period. The jail authorities shall produce the Applicant on every date before the trial Court. This order shall be sent by the Registry to the trial Court immediately.

With these directions, the Application is disposed of.
