The applicant is facing charges under sections 420, 467, 468 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is the case of the prosecution that the applicant/accused has played fraud and cheated the complainant in one government housing scheme. The applicant/accused is a Sarpanch and he withdrew Rs.25,000/- and used for himself. The learned Counsel for the applicant/accused has submitted that the Sarpanch deposited the amount of Rs.25,000/- on 14.11.2014 in the account of the Block Development Officer, P.S. Shirur against the same amount. 2.
The learned Prosecutor has opposed the application. He submits that he wants to verify this fact, as the Investigating Officer is not available in Court.

Perused the FIR, the papers and a photocopy of the bank receipt that the applicant/accused has deposited Rs.25,000/- in the account of the Block Development Officer is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification. The applicant/accused is also present in the Court. 4.
In view of the above, the interim order dated 27.3.2015 is confirmed. However, the applicant/accused shall attend the concerned police station as and when called, till filing of chargesheet. 5.
