Writ Petition No. 4394 of 2003 was dismissed along with Letters Patent Appeal No. 138 of 2007 by an order dated 13th 18th August 2022
7-ASIA-1037-2020 IN ASWP-4394-2003.DOC November 2019. The Letters Patent Appeal was restored on 28th June 2022 by an order made in Interim Application 1018 of 2020. Nobody remembered to restore this Writ Petition. Hence this Interim Application.

The Interim Application is made absolute. The Writ Petition No. 4394 of 2003 is restored to file along with Letters Patent Appeal.

We believe that there is a narrow question of law involved in these two matters. We request Ms Doshi, learned Advocate for the Petitioner, to give notice to the Advocate for the Respondent, enclosing a copy of this order.

Both matters will be listed for directions initially on 25th August 2022 on the supplementary board. We will then fix a convenient date for final disposal of the Writ Petition and Letters Patent Appeal.
