Pursuant to the order dated 05/08/2022 passed by this Court, learned 2nd Joint Civil Judge, Senior Division, Thane has submitted a status report. I am satisfied with the explanation. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the applicant that adjournments after adjournments are sought by the plaintiff which is hampering the progress of the suit. My attention is invited to the order dated 14/01/2019 passed by this Court. In paragraph 5,

19.ia 17037.22.doc statement of the learned counsel for the plaintiff was recorded that the plaintiff will extend full co-operation to the trial Court for deciding the suit as expeditiously as possible. Statement is accepted.

Taking an overall view of the matter and that learned counsel appearing on behalf of the plaintiff again submits that he would extend full co-operation to the trial Court for deciding the suit expeditiously, the time to decide the suit is extended in terms of the order dated 14/01/2019 till the end of August 2023. The statement of the plaintiff that he will co-operate with the expeditious disposal of the suit is accepted.

The interim application is disposed of.
