The Applicant was released on bail vide order dated 20/12/2021 in Bail Application No.2594 of 2021, in view of the statement of the Applicant that he would deposit first installment of Rs.9,00,000/- on or before 31/03/2022, second installment on or before 30/06/2022 and third installment by 30/09/2022. This Court had made it clear that if the Applicant fails to honour the undertaking of deposit of amount in the time stipulated, the protection order will cease to operate without further reference to the Court and that the investigating officer will be at liberty to take the Applicant in custody.

Learned counsel for the Applicant states that the 1st installment could not be deposited in scheduled time since the bank was closed being the last day of financial year. She states that an amount of Rs.3,00,000/- shall be deposited today and the balance amount of Rs.6,00,000/- of the first installment would be deposited within one week. The Applicant is permitted to deposit Rs.3,00,000/- today and balance amount of Rs.6,00,000/- within a period of one week. Second and third installments shall be deposited on the scheduled dates. 3.
The application stands disposed of.
