In response to the order dated 31st March, 2022 passed by this Court, learned APP placed on record a compilation of communication along with letter dated 24th March, 2022, submitted to the Desk Officer, Home Department through Superintendent, Nashik Road Central Jail. Perusal of the compilation shows that the applicant is presently lodged in Nashik Road Central Jail and undergoing a detention order. The applicant was lodged in the prison on 22nd December 2021. The applicant was referred to Medical Officer attached to Civil Hospital, Nashik for providing medical treatment. The Medical Officer opined for further treatment of the applicant at Sir J.J. Hospital, Mumbai. Accordingly, the Superintendent (Prisons) submitted a proposal for grant of permission to the applicant to 1/2 Digitally signed by SHUBHADA SHANKAR KADAM Date:

It is stated in the communication dated 7th April, 2022 addressed to the learned APP that the proposal is forwarded to the State Government vide proposal/4081/2022 dated 29th March, 2022, for grant of permission to travel and as soon as permission is granted, the applicant would be referred to Sir J.J. Hospital, Mumbai for further treatment. At present, the applicant is under the treatment of Medical Officer attached to Nashik Road Central Jail, Nashik. 2.

By accepting the statement referred to above reflected in the communication dated 7th April, 2022, as an undertaking to this Court, the application is disposed of.
