The above Writ Petition has been filed seeking a transfer of the investigation into MECR No. 13 of 2014 from the MIDC Police Station, Mumbai to the Economic Offences Wing, Crime Branch, Mumbai. The learned A.P.P Mr. Kamkhedkar, on instructions of the Investigating Officer Mr. Dilip Utekar, Police Inspector presently attached to Khar Police Station, who was the Investigating Officer at the relevant SQ Pathan 1/2

wp.1339.18.908.doc time, states that an appropriate report would be filed before the concerned Court within two weeks from date. Statement accepted. In view of the said statement, it is not necessary to keep the above Writ Petition pending. It would be contingent upon the report that would be filed by the Investigating Officer in the concerned Court that the Petitioner would have to seek appropriate recourse in law. We express no opinion in that regard. With the observations as aforesaid, the above Writ Petition is disposed of.
