The relief claimed in the present petition is for direction to the concerned authority to appoint judicial officer (M.C.O.C. Judge) to try exclusively the offences registered under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999 in Thane Region.

Due to passage of time, we do not think the grievance of the petitioner still subsists. The said Court has been constituted. In that view of the matter, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition. Petition stands disposed of.
