Learned Counsel for the Applicant, when the court expressed its disinclination to entertain the application, seeks leave to withdraw the application. Learned Counsel, however, submits that the trial of Sessions Case No.32 of 2023 may be expedited as the applicant has been in custody since 17 September 2022. 3.
The submission is reasonable.

The application stands dismissed as withdrawn. 5.
Learned Sessions Judge seized with Sessions Case No.32 of 2023 is requested to make an endeavour to commence and conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one and a half year from the date of communication of this order.
