The applicant undergoing imprisonment since last about seven years, had sought parole on 22nd November 2017 on account of illness of his father. That request was rejected and thereafter he has moved appellate authority. The appellate authority also rejected the appeal. Challenging that rejection, present proceedings have been filed. 2.

The illness of father in 2017 ceases to be a relevant factor for seeking parole. We, therefore, are not inclined to intervene at this juncture. However, if that reason still survives, we grant the petitioner leave to move the application afresh with necessary documents in support thereof within two weeks after communication of this order to him. If such an application is moved by him, it shall be decided as per law within four weeks thereafter. With these directions we dispose off present petition.
