The present petition is filed under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, for extension of mandate of the learned arbitrator. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent was served by email and affidavit of service shall be placed on record within one week from today. Accordingly, the affidavit of service be filed within one week. 2.
The documents placed on record show that the learned arbitrator was appointed by order dated 16/10/2019, passed by this Court. It is specifically stated in the petition that, as on today, the proceedings before the learned arbitrator are at the stage of recording of evidence of the claimant. It appears that the Mamta Kale

Having perused the material on record, this Court is satisfied that the prayer made in the present petition can be granted, in the interest of justice. Hence, the mandate of the learned arbitrator is extended till 31/12/2023. 4.
In view of the above, the petition stands disposed of accordingly.
