DATED :- MARCH 30, 2016 P.C. :- The petitioner and the advocate are absent. This petition is pending in this court from 30th March, 2012. On 3rd April, 2012, it was placed before a Division Bench and after hearing both sides, an ad-interim order was passed. That adinterim order has been continued from time to time. From the record, it appears that, the petition was listed on several occasions, but could not be taken up. It was also on board on 11th March, 2013 when both, the petitioner and the advocate were absent. That is why it was stood over to 15th April, 2013. Thereafter, it was on board on 10th June, 2013 and neither the petitioner nor the advocate appeared. It was listed thereafter on 9th October, 2013 and adjourned to 18th November, 2013. Similar was the position and though the matter was on board in 2013 and 2014, for want of time, it could not be taken up. In 2015, we find that the petitioner and advocate were absent, except for two occasions, namely, 25th February, 2015 and 9th March, 2015. Thereafter also the petitioner and his advocate continued to remain absent. In these circumstances, we dismiss the petition for want of prosecution and vacate the ad-interim order forthwith.
