The applicant is seeking pre-arrest bail in Crime No.63 of 2021 registered with Manchar Police Station, Pune (Rural) for the offence punishable under Section 68 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act. 3.

The offence alleged is under the provisions of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act. Considering the judgement of the Apex Court in the case of Arnesh Kumar Vs. State of Bihar, (2014) 8 SCC 273, in my opinion, ad-interim protection needs to be confirmed. 4.

in the event of arrest of the applicant in Crime No.63 of 2021 registered with Manchar Police Station, Pune (Rural) for the offence punishable under Section 68 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, he be released on bail on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/ with one or two sureties in the like amount. Applicant shall attend the Investigating Officer as and when directed by the Investigating Officer. The said applicant shall not directly or indirectly try to influence the prosecution witnesses and tamper with the evidence. 5.
