By this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner is seeking direction against respondent No.2Additional Collector, Pune to decide his application dated 10th October, 2019 filed under section 84 and 63 of the Maharashtra Tenancy and Agricultural Land Act, 1984 as early as possible. 5.
Mr. Khan, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that though the said application was filed by him on 10th October, 2019 before respondent No.2, the same is pending for hearing and final disposal. Hence, the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition.
6.
Considering the submission made by Mr. Khan, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and as the application filed by the petitioner under section 84 and 63 of the Maharashtra Tenancy and Agricultural Land Act, 1984 is pending since 2019, we are satisfied that the petitioner has made out a case for direction to respondent No.2 to decide the same as early as possible on it's own merits.
7.
In view of these facts, following order is passed; : O R D E R :
(a)Respondent No.2 is directed to decide the petitioner'
s application under section 84 and 63 of the Maharashtra Tenancy and Agricultural Land Act, 1984 filed on 10th October, 2019 as early as possible on it'
s own merits after hearing both the sides;
(b)All contentions of both the parties are kept open; (c) With these directions, writ petition stands disposed of;
