2) When the Court expressed disinclination to entertain the application, the learned Counsel for the applicant, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the application. 3) The learned Counsel, however, submits that the applicant has been in custody since 10th October, 2019 and till date only 7 witnesses have been examined.

907-BA-1048-24.DOC 4) Since the trial has commenced and seven witnesses have been examined, it may be expedient to request the learned Additional Sessions Judge seized with Sessions Case No. 215 of 2020 arising out of CR No. 682 of 2019 to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of nine months from the date of the communication of this order. 5) The application stands disposed.

6) The applicant shall have the liberty to revive the prayer for bail in the event the trial is not concluded within the said period.
