Learned APP submits that in the present case, trial has commenced, the Court has recorded substantive evidence of one witness who happens to be a panch witness. Learned counsel for the applicant fairly submits that in fact, charge is framed almost more than 2 years ago and the trial is not proceeding. In view of this, learned counsel for the applicant seeks liberty to withdraw the application and prays for expeditious trial.
