DATE : APRIL 20, 2018 P.C.:- The learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 27th Court, Mulund, Mumbai convicted the applicant for an offence punishable undere section 138 of the Negotiable Instrruments Act, 1881 ordering payment of costs of Rs.3,00,000/- and to suffer suffer imprisonment for 3 months which was modified in appeal by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Mumbai by reducing the compensation to Rs.2,50,000/- and setting aside the findings regarding subject cheque.

The liability under the said cheque is disputed by the applicant. Hence, ADMIT.

The applicant to file paper-book within six months from today, failing which the revision shall stand dismissed without further reference to the Court.
