Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The record discloses that on 18/10/2019, a statement was made on behalf of respondent No.1-Grievance Redressal Committee, that the Committee shall decide the Application No.96/2017, 153/2018 and 212/2018 within a period of two weeks if not already decided.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the representations have indeed been decided on 19/10/2019 on which date the petitioner was unable to remain present on account of bereavement in his family.

I am afraid this cannot be gone into in the Contempt Petition. Once a statement is made on behalf of the petitioner that the grievance is decided, nothing survives in the Contempt Petition. Needless to mention that if the petitioner is aggrieved by the decision of the Grievance Committee, he will have to take recourse to appropriate remedy, if any, available in law. However, no case for taking action for contempt is made out. The petition is accordingly disposed of.
